EXAMPLE FOR FRONT APPLICATION

Preparation of the wall

​

  • The desired area needs to be free of fatty residues, dirt, dust and paint.

  • To free the surface of bricks, pumice stone and other materials from dust, it should be cleaned with water only.

  • Depending on the desired layer thickness, the suitable spacing strips are placed.

  • For the wall to be ready for application of the insulation material, it needs to be completely dry.

  • One package of IZOPOINT (8 kg) allows covering an area of 3 m2 with a thickness of 1 cm.

 

HINT:

IZOPOINT can be applied both with hands or a suitable device.

Preparation steps for IZOPOINT

  • Put 3 litres of water into a kettle

  • Add 1 package of IZOPOINT

  • Add the remaining 10 litres of water to the mixture

  • Mix the material with a stirring device for approx. 3 min (carefully mix from bottom to top).

  • Take a spatula to check for an optimal consistency of the mixture

  • Use up the entire mixture within 2 hours.

Needed material for the preparation of IZOPOINT:

  • Clean kettle with a minimum volume of 60 litres

  • 1 package of IZOPOINT (8 kg)

  • 13 litres of water

  • A stirring device with a doubled circulation of 800 – 1000 d/ min

  • Spatula
